The scope of the contract includes design, engineering, procurement and construction along with the commissioning of the solar power facility at SEML’s Kharora plant in Chhattisgarh.
The contract value stood at Rs 138.72 crore and is scheduled for completion within a 6-month timeline.

On a consolidated, the company’s net profit climbed 51.1% year on year to Rs to Rs 11.92 crore in Q2 FY24. Net sales zoomed to Rs 199.43 crore in Q2 FY24 as against Rs 80.92 crore recorded in Q2 FY23.
Shares of Gensol Engineering fell 0.96% to end at Rs 840 on the BSE.
