The company's total medium & heavy commercial vehicles (M&HCV) sales declined 12% YoY to 10,800 units and light commercial vehicles (LCV) sales fell 6% YoY to 5,524 units in December 2023 over December 2022.

Total domestic sales for December 2023 stood at 15,323 units, registering a de growth of 10% as against 17,112 units for December 2022.

Total vehicle exports fell 2.44% YoY to 1,001 units in December 2023.

Ashok Leyland reported net profit of Rs 561.01 crore in Q2 FY24, steeply higher from Rs 199.31 crore posted in corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations jumped 16.6% year on year to Rs 9,638.04 crore in Q2 FY24.
