As compared with Q2 FY24, the company sales volume rose 2%. Sales volume in the previous quarter stood at 26.69 MT.
While UltraTech's total sales volume in India grew by 5% YoY to 26.06 MT, overseas sales of grey cement jumped 20% YoY to 1.38 MT during the period under review.
UltraTech Cement is the cement flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group. It is the third largest cement producer in the world, outside of China, with a consolidated Grey Cement capacity of 136.65 mtpa.
The cement maker's consolidated net profit increased 69.6% to Rs 1,281.45 crore on 15.3% jump in revenue from operations to Rs 16,012.13 crore in Q2 FY24 over Q2 FY23.
The scrip declined 2.03% to Rs 10,248.90 on the BSE.
