Separately, KPI Green Energy and its wholly-owned subsidiary, KPIG Energia, have successfully completed the commissioning of solar power projects totaling 17.35 MWp. These projects were carried out for clients, including Jay Metal Tech, Reenam Fabrics, JPB Fibers, and Creative Technologies, as part of the 'Captive Power Producer (CPP)' business segment. Additionally, approvals from the Chief Electrical Inspector (CEIG) have been obtained in the names of the respective clients.

KPI Green Energy develops and maintains grid connected solar power projects and sells power units generated from the company's solar plants.

The power generation company reported a 64.2% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 34.75 crore in Q2 FY24 as against Rs 21.16 crore in Q2 FY23. Revenue from operations jumped 34.55% year on year to Rs 215.06 crore during the quarter ended 30 September 2023.

The scrip ended 3.75% lower at Rs 1281.20 on Wednesday, 27 December 2023.
