This is being done with the intent to promote the IRCTC brand and the business across the nation.

The mini-ratna PSU is currently managing catering services for various ministries, government departments, autonomous bodies including judiciary and universities. The company has already set up its hospitality outlets in nine such organizations, including department of telecommunications in New Delhi, Calcutta High Court, UP secretariat – Lucknow and so on.

IRCTC has also signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with various government and autonomous bodies, including defense establishments such as border security force, Indian Maritime University in Kolkata, Cotton University in Guwahati and so on. The company is in active phase of commissioning fifteen more catering units across the country in the near future.

With the objective of expanding its catering operations across the country, the company is engaged in discussions with various other government organizations and industrial houses for setting up of catering units and also offer comprehensive catering solutions.
