Revenue from operation stood at Rs 1,778.05 crore in Q2 FY24, down 9.36% as compared with Rs 1,961.65 crore posted in Q2 FY23.
The firm reported profit before tax of Rs 277.20 crore during the quarter, up 18.16% as compared with Rs 234.59 crore recorded in same quarter last year.
On segmental front, the revenue from advanced intermediates was at Rs 670.20 crore (down 2.20% YoY) while revenue from phenolics stood at Rs 1,120.13 crore, (down 12.77%) during the period under review.
On half yearly basis, the company’s consolidated net profit declined 13.23% to Rs 354.98 crore on 11.77 % fall in revenue from operations to Rs 3,546.39 crore in H1 FY24 over H1 FY23.
