While the company’s domestic sales have risen by 36% to 329,618 units, exports have declined by 7% to 141,570 units in October 2023 over October 2022.
Bajaj has sold 408,144 units of 2-wheelers (up 19% YoY) and 63,044 units of commercial vehicles (up 18% YoY) during the period under review.
Bajaj Auto is engaged in the business of development, manufacturing and distribution of automobiles such as motorcycles, commercial vehicles, electric two-wheelers etc. and parts thereof.
The company's standalone net profit jumped 20.01% to Rs 1,836.14 crore in Q2 FY24 as compared with Rs 1,530 crore in Q2 FY23. Revenue from operations rose 5.63% YoY to Rs 10,777.27 crore in Q2 FY24.
The scrip rose 0.98% to currently trade at Rs 5366.65 on the BSE.
