As compared with Q1 FY24, the company's sales volume has declined 11%. Sales volumes in the previous quarter stood at 29.96 MT.
While UltraTech's total sales volume in India grew by 15% YoY to 25.66 MT, overseas sales of grey cement jumped 22% YoY to 1.18 MT during the period under review.
UltraTech Cement is the cement flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group. It is the third largest cement producer in the world, outside of China, with a consolidated Grey Cement capacity of 136.65 mtpa.
The cement maker's consolidated net profit increased 6.59% to Rs 1,688.45 crore on 16.97% jump in revenue from operations to Rs 17,737.10 crore in Q1 FY24 over Q1 FY23.
Shares of UltraTech Cement were down 0.24% to Rs 8237.95 on the BSE.
