Sanjeev Kumar Singh is appointed in place of Anicattu lssac George who had resigned with effect from 31 August 2023.
Singh has completed BA (Maths Hons.) from Banaras Hindu University and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also completed a certificate course on advanced program on Strategy for Leaders, from IIM Lucknow' He has over 33 Years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounts.
Sanjeev Kumar Singh had joined GVK Group in the year 2OO7 and presently is serving as senior vice president (Finance & Accounts).
GVK Power & Infrastructure operates in energy, airports, transportation and has presence in other business, such as resources and urban infrastructures.
The company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 118.67 crore in Q1 FY24 as against net loss of Rs 356.72 crore in Q1 FY23. Net sales declined 18.6% YoY to Rs 500.36 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2023.
Shares of GVK Power & Infrastructure were freezed at its 52-week high of Rs 10.84 on the BSE.
