As of 30 June 2023, the company's order book amounted to about Rs 542 crore. During the current quarter, it successfully secured new orders worth about Rs 733 crore, raising its total order book to about Rs 1,275 crore.
"We have not excluded the orders executed during Q2 FY24 from the cumulative order book and they shall be accounted for at the end of the quarter," Zen Technologies said in a statement.
Zen Technologies' order book comprises training simulators, counter drone systems, and services. The largest portion, amounting to Rs 590.96 crore, is allocated to training simulators. The counter drone system category follows closely behind with Rs 456.11 crore, while services, including annual maintenance contracts, account for Rs 228.25 crore. Altogether, the company's order book stands at Rs 1,275.32 crore.
Zen Technologies is engaged in design, development and manufacture of training simulators for police and para-military forces, armed forces, security forces, government departments like transport, mining, infrastructure and civilian market.
It reported standalone net profit of Rs 47.13 crore in Q1 FY24, steeply higher from Rs 8.21 crore posted in Q1 FY23. Net sales zoomed to Rs 132.45 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared with Rs 33.23 crore in Q1 FY23.
