Revenue from operations on consolidated basis increased to Rs 147.3 crore in the Q1 FY24 from Rs 121.1 crore in the Q1 FY23, a growth of 22%.
The revenue from human nutrition segment increased by 23% YoY to Rs 80.7 crore in Q1 FY24, primarily due to API and Bio-catalysis division.
The Animal nutrition revenue remained muted by delivering a growth of mere 1% to Rs 15.8 crore in Q1 FY24 as against Rs 15.6 crore in Q1 FY23.
The Bio-Processing segment outperformed by 22% during the quarter, it accounted for Rs 22.4 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared to Rs 18.3 crore in Q1 FY23.
The Specialized manufacturing segment contributed 7% in the pie which is Rs 9.7 crore to the revenue during the quarter, an increase of 50% on YoY basis.
The domestic sales constituted about 50% of revenue from operations during Q1 FY24 as compared to 45% during Q1 FY23. International sales were 50% of revenue from operations during Q1 FY24 as compared to 55% during Q1 FY23.
Consolidated EBITDA during Q1 FY24 stands at Rs 44 crore as compared to Rs 30.9 crore during Q1 FY23, an increase of 42%.
Profit before tax in Q1 FY24 stood at Rs 41.4 crore, up by 75% from Rs 23.7 crore in Q1 FY23.
EBITDA margin was 30%, PBT margin was 28% and PAT margin was 20% during the quarter.
Financial costs stood at Rs 0.7 crore during Q1 FY24 as against Rs 0.6 crore in Q1 FY23.
Depreciation and amortization charge for the Q1 FY24 remain unchanged at Rs 8.6 crore as compared to the same quarter previous year.
