Revenue from operations jumped 33.3% to Rs 495.25 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared with Rs 371.48 crore posted in same quarter last year.
During the quarter profit before tax increased 31.7% year on year to Rs 34.92 crore.
Total expenses stood at Rs 462.65 crore in Q1 FY24, was up 29.2% YoY. Cost of raw material and components consumed was at Rs 273.93 crore (up 5.7% YoY), employee benefits expense was at Rs 69.35 crore (up 22.85% YoY)and finance cost stood at Rs 11.77 crore (up 10.21% YoY) during the period under review.
Meanwhile, the board has approved the appointment of Suparna Banerjee Bhattacharyya as chief financial officer and key managerial personnel of the company with effect from 9 August 2023.
