Revenue from operations slipped 19.96% to Rs 1,182.02 crore in Q1 FY24 as compared with Rs 1,476.85 crore posted in corresponding quarter last year.
Profit before tax reduced 37.39% to Rs 138.46 crore in quarter ended 30 June 2023 as against Rs 221.6 crore recorded in same quarter last year.
Total expenses stood at Rs 1053.72 crore (down 18% YoY) while employee benefit expenses was Rs 96.27 crore (up 6.12% YoY) in Q1 FY24.
Revenue from life science chemicals fell 27.75% year on year to Rs 350.22 crore in Q1 FY24 while revenue from performance and other chemicals declined 17.27% year on year to Rs 874.46 crore in Q1 FY24.
