The solar portfolio CUF stood at 26.9% in Q1 FY24, improved by 40 bps as compared with 26.5% posted in same quarter last year. Improved CUF performance backed by consistent high plant availability and consistent high plant availability.

The sale of energy in wind portfolio rose 34%YoY to 892 million units, on the back of capacity increase from 647 MW to 1,201 MW YoY. The firm's CUF in this segment slides to 38.7% in Q1 FY24 as against 47% in Q1 FY23. The wind portfolio CUF slipped primarily due to relatively lower wind speed, which was higher last year, relatively lower plant availability and Wind Turbine Generators were shutdown during Biparjoy cyclone in the state of Gujarat as a safety measure.

The renewable energy company said its total operational capacity increased by 43% YoY to 8,316 MW with addition of 1,750 MW solar–wind Hybrid, 212 MW solar and 554 MW wind power plants.

The power generation company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 508 crore in Q4 FY23, steeply higher than Rs 121 crore recorded in Q4 FY22. Revenue from operations climbed 81.65% year on year to Rs 2,583 crore during the quarter.
