NSE is adding 26 additional stocks to the futures & options (F&O) segment from 29 December and Hinduja TMT (HTNT) is one of new entrants. HTMT is currently at an advanced stage of a restructuring process, which includes demerger of its IT/IT enabled services undertaking into a separate listed entity and the consolidation of its media and broadband subsidiaries into a single entity. Shareholders’ approval has already been obtained and the restructuring process is currently before the Bombay High Court.
Drug maker FDC surged 8% to Rs 39.65 after it received Japanese government accreditation as foreign manufacturer for active pharmaceutical ingredients. It was the second biggest gainer from BSE’s A group.
IPCA Labs rose 7% to Rs 595.40. The stock was third biggest gainer from BSE’s A group. The stock extended its recent solid surge on expectations of strong Q3 December 2006 results.
Ramco Systems rose nearly 7% to Rs 202.85 on renewed buying on expectations of strong Q3 results. The stock was fourth biggest gainer from BSE’s A group
Bank of India surged 5% to Rs 205.35 on expectations of improving profitability after several raised lending rates.
