DMart has reported a standalone revenue of Rs 11,584.44 crore in quarter ended 30 June 2023, recording a growth of 18.13% from Rs 9,806.89 crore posted in the same period a year ago.
The revenue is higher than Rs 5,031.75 crore reported in the quarter ended 30 June 2021 and Rs 3,833.23 crore registered in the quarter ended 30 June 2020.
Avenue Supermarts is a Mumbai-based company, which owns and operates D-Mart stores. D-Mart is a national supermarket chain that offers customers a range of home and personal products under one roof. As of 31 December 2022, the company had 306 operating stores with retail business area of 12.6 million square feet across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Daman, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, NCR, Chhattisgarh and Punjab.
The company reported 7.8% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 460.13 crore on 20.57% jump in revenue from operations to Rs 10,594.11 crore in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.
Shares of Avenue Supermarts shed 0.03% to Rs 3,864 on the BSE.
