"Swaminathan Janakiraman nominee director representing State Bank of India (SBI), has resigned as a director of the company with effect from 26 June 2023 consequent upon his appointment as Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India," SBI Life said in a notification on 26 June 2023.

The life insurer's net profit increased 15.6% to Rs 776.85 crore on 6.43% rise in total income to Rs 22,805.40 crore in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.
Shares of SBI Life Insurance Company rose 0.37% to Rs 1267 on Monday, 26 June 2023.
