The hospitality company has announced the appointment of Philip Logan as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Based at the corporate office in Bangalore, India, Logan will report directly to chairman & MD Chander K Baljee. His responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of both owned brands, Royal Orchid Hotels and Regenta Hotels.
Logan has extensive experience in the Indian hospitality industry, having worked with multiple brands of Accor, including IBIS, Mecure, Novotel, Grand Mercure, and Sofitel. He is regarded for his ability to collaborate closely with owners and ensure their goals and brand objectives are met. Logan is also committed to nurturing and developing individuals for leadership roles.
Regenta & Royal Orchid Hotels is one of India's fastest-growing hotel chains. It primarily operates 5-star, 4-star, and resorts, enabling it to target discerning business and leisure travelers. It currently operates 90+ hotels across India.
On a consolidated basis, net profit of Royal Orchid Hotels declined 60.11% to Rs 12.68 crore on 83.53% increase in net sales to Rs 72.55 crore in Q4 March 2023 over Q4 March 2022.
Shares of Royal Orchid Hotels fell 0.69% to Rs 331.25 on Monday, 19 Jun 2023.
