IRB Infra gains after May toll collection jumps 20% YoY
IRB Infrastructure Developers advanced 2.97% to Rs 28.81 after the company and its subsidiary collectively registered 20% growth in gross collection to Rs 411.15 crore in May 2023 as compared with Rs 343.50 crore in May 2022.
The gross toll collection of IRB Infra's wholly-owned subsidiariy, IRB InvIT Fund in May 2023 was Rs 864.75 crore, up 9% year on year (YoY).

Virendra D. Mhaiskar, chairman & managing director of IRB Infrastructure Developers, said, “After a promising start in April 2023 on toll collection front, it seems the momentum is continued in May 2023; thus, reinforcing consistency and robustness in growth across all highway corridors we manage across India.”

IRB Infrastructure Developers (IRB) is India's first Multinational Infrastructure player in Highways segment. As the largest integrated private toll roads and highways infrastructure developer in India, with this win, IRB group's asset base will swell to over Rs 70,000 crore spread in 11 States across the parent company and two InvITs.

The company's consolidated net profit declined 25.4% to Rs 130.15 crore despite of 13% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 1,619.98 crore in Q4 FY23 over Q4 FY22.
