The wind energy solutions provider has bagged an order for a 150MW wind power project from NTPC Renewable Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, which is the RE business vertical of NTPC.
As part of the order, Inox Wind will supply and install existing and new technology wind turbine generators. Additionally, as part of the agreement, Inox Wind will be responsible for operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the project. This addition will contribute to the expansion of Inox Wind's O&M fleet, enhancing overall profitability.
With this the total orders from NTPC stood at 550MW awarded till date to Inox Wind.
Inox Wind is a fully integrated player in the wind energy market with three manufacturing plants in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
On a consolidated basis, Inox Wind reported net loss of Rs 117.51 crore in Q4 March 2023 as against net loss of Rs 255.64 crore in Q4 March 2022. Net sales rose 40.30% YoY to Rs 192.77 crore in Q3 March 2023.
Shares of Inox Wind surged 14.68% to Rs 134 on Monday, 29 May 2023.
