Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd decreased 0.69% and Tata Steel Ltd lost 0.55% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 5.77 % over last one year compared to the 13.76% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
