The highways infrastructure developer has been awarded Hyderabad Outer Ring Road (ORR) project under Toll-Operate-Transfer (TOT) model with revenue linked concession period of 30 years for upfront consideration of Rs 7,380 crore.
The project entails construction of eight-lane divided carriageway with paved shoulder & two lane service road along the project road, starting at Narsingi Junction and ending at at Gachibowli in Hyderabad, Telangana.
The project will have 22 toll plaza, 22 interchanges, 8 major bridges, 122 minor bridges, a flyover, 4 railway over bridges, 168 underpasses, large number of culverts & causeways. The project has close loop tolling.
After signing the concession agreement, the project SPV will be making the payment of Rs 7,380 crore within a span of 120 days, said the company.
With this award, the civil construction company's asset base expands to over Rs 70,000 crore and O&M order book grew by Rs 14,500 crore.
