The plant adds around 60,000 MT of capacity, whereby scaling the company's overall annual acetic anhydride capacity to 210,000 MT.
This enhanced capacity will also help the company to increase its global presence in various geographies and achieve leadership position in the global merchant markets. In the domestic market it further strengthens and consolidates its position as a market leader.
With this additional capacity, Jubilant Ingrevia also provides opportunity to its global customers to further expand their downstream products across end‐user industries viz. Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals, Food, Vitamins, Wood Acetylation, Electronics, Dyes industry etc.

On consolidated basis, Jubilant Ingrevia's net profit tumbled 29% to Rs 92 crore on 10.16% decline in revenue from operations to Rs 1,152.63 crore in Q3 FY23 over Q3 FY22.
The scrip rose 0.85% to Rs 402 on the BSE.
