Latur Circle (Latur Zone), Washim Circle (Akola Zone), Nanded Circle (Nanded Zone), Gadchiroli O&M Circle (Chandrapur Zone), Parbhani Circle (Nanded Zone), Malegaon Circle (Nashik Zone) and Nashik Urban Circle (Nashik Zone) are the areas for which contract has been awarded to the company by MSEDCL.

“The accepted contract value in aggregate for all above projects is Rs 2,285.02 crore,” Ashoka Buildcon said in a statement.

Ashoka Buildcon is presently engaged in the business of construction of infrastructure facilities on engineering, procurement and construction basis (EPC) and built, operate and transfer (BOT) basis and sale of ready mix concrete.

The company reported net profit of Rs 66.72 crore in Q3 FY23 as against net loss of Rs 693.55 crore posted in Q3 FY22. Revenue from operations jumped 41.3% year on year (YoY) to Rs 1,559.51 crore in the quarter ended 31 December 2022.

The scrip zoomed 9.82% to end at 83.75 on the BSE yesterday.

The domestic equity markets are shut today (7 April 2023) on account of Good Friday.
