The company said it now has a total of 220 tons per day sorbitol manufacturing capacity at Sitarganj.
With this the company becomes the largest sorbitol manufacturer in India with a cumulative capacity of 400 tons per day at 3 locations, Gujarat Ambuja added.
GAEL is involved in the manufacturing of corn starch derivatives, soya derivatives, feed ingredients, cotton yarn, and edible oils. The company serves the food, pharmaceutical, feed and many other industries with a long term growth strategy in the agro-processing sector.
The company reported 22.1% fall in consolidated net profit to Rs 81.92 crore on 8.7% decline in net sales to Rs 1,129.86 crore in Q3 FY23 over Q3 FY22.
The scrip rose 2.59% to end at Rs 235.75 on Wednesday, 29 March 2023.
