NBCC jumps on bagging two orders worth Rs 146 crore
|
|
NBCC (India) rose 3.60% to Rs 32.25 after the company received work orders worth Rs 146.39 crore from Ghani Khan Choudhary Institute of Engineering and Technology, (GKCIET) in West Bengal and Small Industrial Development Bank of India (SIDBI).

|
The GKCIET's project entails construction of hostel building, boundary wall, and other works at phase – II of GKCIET. The cost of the project is Rs 46.39 crore.
The work SIDBI order calls for various work (redevelopment, repair & maintenance, facility management services etc) of SIDBI buildings on pan India basis. The cost of the project is Rs 100 crore.
NBCC (India) provides civil engineering construction services. As on 31 December 2022, the Government of India held 61.75% stake in NBCC (India).
The company's consolidated net profit declined 16.3% to Rs 69.09 crore despite of 8.1% rise in net sales to Rs 2,116.50 crore in Q3 FY23 over Q3 FY22.
