Among the other constituents of the index, Hindustan Zinc Ltd increased 0.97% and APL Apollo Tubes Ltd added 0.93% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 8.52 % over last one year compared to the 9.85% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
