Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd increased 1.43% and National Aluminium Company Ltd added 1.3% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went down 8.34 % over last one year compared to the 1.49% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

Hindalco Industries Ltd has added 3.66% over last one month compared to 2.96% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 1.04% rise in the SENSEX.
