La Opala RG gains on commencing production at Uttarakhand unit
La Opala RG advanced 1.63% to Rs 270.50 after the company announced the commencement of commercial production at its green field plant located at Sitarganj, Uttarakhand.

In a regulatory filing made during market hours today, the company said that its green field plant situated at Sitarganj, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand, having production capacity of 11,000 metric tons per annum, has successfully commenced its commercial production on 1 June 2022.

This is the second plant of the company in Uttarakhand which is now operational.

La Opala RG is a pure-play tableware company. Its brands include La Opala, Diva and Solitare.

The comany's standalone net profit declined 6.18% to Rs 18.68 crore on a 11.55% rise in sales to Rs 89.65 crore in Q4 FY22 over Q4 FY21.
