Rites-PMPL JV wins order from Bangalore metro for Rs 499 crore
Rites joint venture Power Mech Projects (PMPL) has emerged as L-1 for the Challaghatta depot project of Bangalore metro.
Post market on Wednesday, Rites stated that under this project, PMPL will construct a depot cum workshop at Challagatta depot in reach-2 extension of Bangalore metro rail project, phase-2 for order value of Rs. 499.41 Crores.

RITES is a multidisciplinary engineering and consultancy organization providing diversified and comprehensive array of services from concept to commissioning in all facets of transport infrastructure and related technologies. The major business engagements as consultants, engineers and project managers are in railways, highways, airports, ports, ropeways, urban transport and inland waterways in India and abroad.

The company reported 74.2% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 5.21 crore on 70.6% rise in net sales to Rs 766.64 crore in Q3 FY22 over Q3 FY21.

Shares of Rites closed 2.27% lower at Rs 271.45 on BSE on Wednesday, 13 April 2022.
