The company's Product sales increased by 3.6% in the third quarter of FY 2021-22, with the Aftermarket division witnessing an increase of 29% due to high demand for diesel products and strategical changes in supply chain leading to higher sales fulfillment. Outside the Mobility Solutions business sector, Bosch recorded an increase of 11%, mainly due to business growth in the Building Technologies division.
Profit before tax in Q3 FY22 stood at Rs 336 crore, up by 54.4% from Rs 217 crore recorded in Q3 FY21.
“Bosch India will continue its contribution to building an Atmanirbhar Bharat through an investment of over Rs 1,000 crore for the localization of advanced automotive technologies in the next five years. An additional Rs 1,000 crore will be put into expanding digital platforms like Mobility Marketplace and Mobility Could Platform.” Soumitra Bhattacharya, the managing director of Bosch and president of the Bosch Group in India, said.
