On a consolidated basis, Delta Corp reported net loss of Rs 22.57 crore in Q2 September 2021 (Q2 FY22).
Net sales surged 104.62% to Rs 247.22 crore in Q3 December 2021 (Q3 FY22) over Q3 December 2020 (Q3 FY21). Net sales soared 230.86% in Q3 FY22 from Q2 FY22.
The income from casino gaming division surged 523.35% to Rs 249.65 crore in Q3 FY22 as against Rs 40.05 crore in Q2 FY22.
The revenue from hospitality division fell 77.89% to Rs 22.29 crore from Rs 12.53 crore in the previous quarter.
The income from online skill gaming division stood at Rs 35.71 crore in Q3 FY22, lower than Rs 40.45 crore in Q2 FY22 and Rs 42.33 crore in Q3 FY21.
Further, Delta Corp said that its board has approved the appointment of advisors, bankers and other intermediaries by Gaussian Networks (GNPL) (a wholly owned subsidiary of the company engaged in the online gaming business) to explore a potential public issue and listing of equity shares of GNPL (including by way of offer for sale of equity shares of GNPL held by the Company). The move will enable GNPL to raise resources for expansion of its business and unlock value for the shareholders of the company.
Delta Corp said that the group is debt free and would have adequate liquidity available to honour its liabilities and obligations, as and when due. "The management will continue to monitor any material changes to its COVID-19 impact assessment, resulting from the future economic conditions and future uncertainty, if any," it added.
Delta Corp is the only listed company engaged in the casino (live, electronic and online) gaming industry in India. The company, along with subsidiaries, currently own and operate casinos in India, in the states of Goa and Sikkim also started an international casino in Nepal. In addition, it also ventured into the fast-growing online gaming space through acquisition of Gauss Networks, which operates the online poker site 'Adda52.com'.
