Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd spiked 16.01% to Rs 25 at 11:52 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 156.88 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 28.68 lakh shares in the past one month.

Engineers India Ltd soared 14.35% to Rs 68.55. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.82 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 79969 shares in the past one month.

Arvind Ltd surged 14.00% to Rs 22.8. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 7.44 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 10.74 lakh shares in the past one month.
