Among the other constituents of the index, Tejas Networks Ltd decreased 2.72% and Bharti Infratel Ltd lost 2.01% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went up 19.79 % over last one year compared to the 11.28% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
