Among the other constituents of the index, Tejas Networks Ltd increased 2.09% and Tata Communications Ltd added 1.34% on the day. The S&P BSE Telecom index went down 20.22 % over last one year compared to the 2.51% fall in benchmark SENSEX.

Reliance Communications Ltd has lost 13.55% over last one month compared to 6.46% fall in S&P BSE Telecom index and 7.01% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 1.55 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 91.89 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 21.65 on 14 Aug 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 1.1 on 26 Jun 2019.
