South Indian Bank Ltd fell for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at 13.35, down 4.3% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is down around 0.76% on the day, quoting at 10146.8. The Sensex is at 33759.91, down 0.81%.South Indian Bank Ltd has eased around 8.25% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Private Bank index of which South Indian Bank Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 2.37% in last one month and is currently quoting at 14180.85, down 0.85% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 144.41 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 255.86 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark October futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 13.4, down 3.94% on the day. South Indian Bank Ltd tumbled 57.28% in last one year as compared to a 1.9% slide in NIFTY and a 2.71% spurt in the Nifty Private Bank index.

The PE of the stock is 7.84 based on TTM earnings ending September 18.
