The Nifty November 2023 futures closed at 19,054, a premium of 64.85 points compared with the Nifty's closing 18,989.15 in the cash market.
In the cash market, the Nifty 50 declined 90.45 points or 0.47% to settle at 18,989.15.
The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, rose 1.88% to 12.05.
REC, Reliance Industries (RIL), and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.
The November 2023 F&O contracts will expire on 30 November 2023.
