Orissa Minerals Development Company receives demand notices for Rs 1480.99 cr
For compensation payable for production without Environment clearance
Orissa Minerals Development Company (OMDC) has received six demand notices dated 02 September 2017 for compensation payable for production without Environment clearance for the OMDC leases aggregating Rs 1480.99 crore. The Demand notices have been received from the office of the Deputy Director of Mines, Joda Circle, District Keonjhar pursuant to the Hon'ble Supreme Court Judgement dt.2 August 2017 in the W.P.(C) No.114 of 2014.
