Ester Industries announces installation of Continuous Polymerization plant & additional metalizing unit
Ester Industries has installed Continuous Polymerization plant with a capacity of producing 180 tons per day (tpd) and started production of PET resin from this plant in first week of November 2010. Continuous Polymerization (CP) is a newer technology which has various advantages over batch polymerisation process. Most important advantage of CP is better and consistent quality of the PET resin which will further result in improving the BOPET film quality and consistency in production. Other major advantage is cost of production & consumption which will be lower than batch polymerization because of continuous production technology.
The company made this announcement during the trading hours today, 18 November 2010.
