Asahi India Glass has commenced commercial production of auto glass at its integrated glass plant at Roorkee, Uttarakhand with effect from 16 October 2007.
The company made this announcement during the trading hours Today, 17 October 2007.
Asahi India Glass’s net profit rose 316.06% to Rs 20.72 crore on 30.22% growth in net sales to Rs 225 crore in Q1 June 2007 over Q1 June 2006.
The company's principal activity is to manufacture and sell automotive and float glass.
