Madras Fertilizers reported net profit of Rs 1.66 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against net loss of Rs 47.71 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales declined 0.67% to Rs 295.12 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 297.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net loss reported at Rs 114.78 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against net loss of Rs 131.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 11.66% to Rs 1210.66 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 1084.22 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
