Net profit of Kalyani Steels rose 55.18% to Rs 24.55 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 15.82 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006. Sales rose 49.03% to Rs 217.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2007 as against Rs 146.04 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2006.

For the full year, net profit declined 10.99% to Rs 89.84 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 100.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2006. Sales rose 58.76% to Rs 909.37 crore in the year ended March 2007 as against Rs 572.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2006.
