For the quarter ended September 2019, it registered a 5% rise in consolidated sales to Rs 870.54 crore. OPM rose 90 bps to 13.9%, which saw OP rise 12% to Rs 120.93 crore.
Other income rose 212% to Rs 50 lakh and interest cost grew 17% to Rs 27.99 crore. As depreciation stagnated at Rs 39.84 crore, PBT went up 21% to Rs 53.6 crore.
Tax rose 22% to Rs 13.64 crore after which PAT went up 21% to Rs 39.96 crore.
Minority interest grew 7% to Rs 1.41 crore after which net profit went up 22% to Rs 38.55 crore.
H1FY 2020 results
In H1FY 2020, it registered a 8% rise in consolidated sales to Rs 1738.69 crore. OPM remained flat at 14.2% which saw OP rise 8% to Rs 247.29 crore.
Other income jumped 24% to Rs 0.79 crore and interest cost grew 19% to Rs 55.49 crore. As depreciation stagnated at Rs 79.23 crore, PBT went up 10% to Rs 113.36 crore.
Tax grew 10% to Rs 28.74 crore (tax incidence stayed at 25%) after which PAT went up 10% to Rs 84.62 crore.
Minority interest grew 11% to Rs 2.28 crore after which net profit went up 10% to Rs 82.34 crore.
Consolidated segment performance
During the quarter Polymer Products grew 5% to Rs 610.33 crore and contributed 70% of the total revenue. PBIT grew 20% to Rs 56.6 crore and accounted for 70% of total
