Swaraj Engines reported a 21% increase in net sales for June 18 quarter to Rs 234.52 crore. Company's engine sales witnessed a growth of 14.8% YoY and stood at 26742 units for June 18 quarter.
OPM was down by about 100 bps to 15.6%, thus restricting the OP growth to 13% to Rs 36.62 crore. Other income was down by 20% to Rs 3.85 crore. Depreciation was higher by 12% to Rs 4.74 crore. After providing total tax of Rs 12.59 crore, up by 11%, PAT for quarter ended June 18 stood at Rs 23.06 crore up by 7% YoY.
Performance for the 12 months ended Mar 18
Company's engine sales witnessed a healthy growth of 11.8% and stood at 92022 units for 12 months ended Mar 18. With the rise in engine sale volume coupled with increase in the share of higher HP engine sale, net sales for FY 18 grew by 15% to Rs 185.26 crore.
OPM was flat at 15.7% resulting in a 16% increase in OP to Rs 121.39 crore. Other income was up by 10% to Rs 18.96 crore. Depreciation was up by 2% to Rs 16.62 crore. Interest cost stood at Rs 1.01 crore. After providing total tax of Rs 42.62 crore up by 16%, PAT for the 12 months ended Mar 18 stood at Rs 80.10 crore up by 16%.
