Order book currently stands confortable at Rs 833 crore

Transformers & Rectifiers (India) expect strong revenue growth in H2FY18 compared to H1FY18. The company expects revenue of about Rs 450 crore in H1FY18 compared to about Rs 300 crore in H1FY18. Considering orders on hand and execution schedule the margin is expected to better in Q3& Q4FY18 as. The company for FY18 as a whole expects a sales of about Rs 750 crore with an overall EBITDA margin stand at around 10%. The company expects the EBITDA in absolute terms as well as proportion to sales will be better in H2FY18 compared to H1FY18. The overall margin for FY18 will be about 10%. However for FY19 the company expect a sales of about Rs 850-900 crore and EBITDA margin will be about 10% plus. Order book of the company as on November 1, 2017 was at comfortable at about Rs 833 crore and the margin of the orders on hand is better as the order book include high margin export orders as well as specialty transformers.

Higher complexity transformers produced in Q2 FY18 hit the volume and dispatches. Unlike Q2FY17 the export dispatches done through Vijay was not there in Q2FY18. The company has lot of export orders under pipeline.
