Order book stands at Rs 378 crore to be executed by April-May’07

|
Ratnamani Metals and Tubes (RMTL) held a conference call to discuss the company's quarterly results and half-yearly results and the future growth plans. The conference call was addressed by P. M. Sanghvi, Chairman and Managing Director and V. Katta, Chief Financial Officer.
Financial Highlights
- For the quarter ended Sept’06 the sales revenue stood at Rs 143.13 crore which was 90% higher as compared to corresponding previous quarter last year. The OPM Inclined by 280 basis points to 22.7%.
- The resultant operating profit for the quarter ended Sept’06 stood at Rs 32.44 crore which was 116% higher as compared to corresponding previous quarter last year. The ensuing PAT for the quarter ended Sept’06 stood at Rs 16.77 crore which was 140% higher as compared to corresponding previous quarter last year.
- During the quarter under review on a geographical wise sales revenue breakup Chatral SSTP contributed Rs 28 crore while Kutch stainless steel contributed Rs 23 crore. The carbon steel division contributed from Chatral was Rs 61.34 crore and Kutch carbon steel contributed Rs 24.70 crore.
- The order book position stands at Rs 378 crore, comprising of exports including SEZ orders of Rs 212 crore and domestic orders of Rs 166 crore to be executed till April-May’07
- On a order wise break up between SSTP and CS-pipes, SSTP division is having order book position of 176 crore while carbon steel is having order book position of Rs 202 crore.
- Out of the order backlog of Rs 378 crore, Reliance Petroleum (RPL) share is nearly Rs 170 crore.
- Carbon steel order intake has increased significantly because of augmentation of Carbon steel capacity to almost 3 lakh tons per annum.
- The term loan as on Sept’06 stands is around Rs 65 crore.
- Companies’ customer base includes L&T, BHEL, Reliance Industries, ISEL, IPCL, BPCL, Gavin India, etc.
