Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 22.20 points, or 0.12% to 18,260.51

On BSE, 2.90 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against an average daily volume of 5.31 lakh shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 55.75 and a low of Rs 54.30 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 58.90 on 27 August 2010 and a 52-week low of Rs 20.40 on 4 November 2009.

The small-cap stock outperformed the market over the past one month till 2 September 2010, advancing 46.07% as compared to the Sensex's 0.87% rise. It had also outperformed the market in the past one quarter, surging 94.94% as compared to the Sensex's return of 8.94%.
