State Bank of India fell 1.01% today to trade at Rs 643.8. The S&P BSE BANKEX index is down 0.55% to quote at 51690.11. The index is down 4.76 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, AU Small Finance Bank Ltd decreased 0.98% and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd lost 0.71% on the day. The S&P BSE BANKEX index went up 9.95 % over last one year compared to the 18.49% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
State Bank of India has added 0.3% over last one month compared to 4.76% fall in S&P BSE BANKEX index and 0.09% rise in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 3.96 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 10.15 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 660.4 on 20 Dec 2023. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 501.85 on 27 Mar 2023.
