Railtel Corporation of India Ltd surged 15.46% to Rs 446.6 at 11:48 IST. The stock was the biggest gainer in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 14.45 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.16 lakh shares in the past one month.

Ircon International Ltd soared 13.64% to Rs 258.7. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 42.44 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 23.47 lakh shares in the past one month.
