The vehicle maker will deliver 210-wheel base viking fully built buses which are AIS 153 certified and BSVI OBD II diesel fuelled for Mofussil operation featuring the advanced iGen6 BSVI technology with a robust 147 kW (197 HP) H Series Engine. This engine is expected to enhance safety, comfort and reduce the overall cost of ownership (TCO).
The total consideration of the order is Rs 522 crore and the company is expected to supply these busses from January 2024 to April 2024.

Ashok Leyland reported net profit of Rs 561.01 crore in Q2 FY24, steeply higher from Rs 199.31 crore posted in corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations jumped 16.6% year on year to Rs 9,638.04 crore in Q2 FY24.
